Growing up hunting and hiking in Alberta, we always dreamed of creating a community surrounding hunting, fitness and the outdoors for other mountain enthusiasts, just like us. Hiking throughout the summer, for us, is a non-negotiable, something we NEED! It's our recharge from the busyness of life, and part of staying mountain-fit for the fall hunting season.
 
Some of the best memories are built on the mountain with like-minded people, who share the same passion for the wild places you do!
 
We felt there was a pretty big hole when it came to community building hunter-focused, mountain activities in the “off season" here in Alberta. There are lots of meet-up groups for enthusiastic hikers, but not much for us hunters.
 
That's why, in 2023, we organized our very first meet-up hike! That summer, we put on over 30K, connected with some awesome new people, and sufficiently warmed up the hiking boots for the fall hunting season. We're doing it all over again this summer, and we can't wait for you to join us! If you love hunting, fitness, spending time in the mountains with good company, and aren't afraid to break a sweat, this is the place for you.
 
This years hike will be 18-20K, intermediate/difficult, so be prepared to be out all day.
 
The hike will be held on July 6th, in Bow Valley Provincial Park. Exact location will be revealed after sign-up.
 
We will be serving coffees at the trailhead parking lot from 8-8:30am prior to the hike, courtesy of Canadian Heritage Roasting Co. Once we reach the summit, we'll be fuelling up again with their Flash-Fuel instant micro-ground coffee packets, so be sure to bring your camp cup!
